David P. Warnic, Controller

Mr. David Warnick joined New Century Energy in June of 2007 and responsible for all financial reporting as well as assisting in compiling the annual and quarterly 10K and 10Q filings. He has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1981 in a variety of accounting and financial roles throughout his career including several managerial accounting positions. His extensive oil and gas experience has included positions in internal auditing, accounting and accounting management reporting at Howell Petroleum, ATP Oil and Gas and Mariner Energy. He has extensive knowledge in financial reporting and Securities of Exchange Commissions filings and procedures.

Mr. Warnick holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston. He has more than 15 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant and has been active in a number of professional organizations including the Petroleum Accounting Society of Houston and Texas Society of CPA’s.
